Thank you for your interest in becoming a Run Leader.

Being a Run Leader is an important role within Widnes Running Club and we want to make sure that anyone taking on the role is able to give the necessary time and commitment to support our members.

Applications are open to First Claim Members of the club only. Successful candidates are required to complete the club Safer Recruitment Application Process which includes undertaking a DBS check and providing references.

Before completing this application, please take a moment to consider whether you are able to:

• Lead a club run at least twice per month
• Plan and prepare suitable routes/sessions for your group
• Support and encourage our improver groups, helping runners to develop their confidence and ability
• Be reliable and willing to support the club and fellow Run Leaders when needed

We appreciate that everyone's availability is different, but regular commitment is important to ensure we can provide consistent support for all of our running groups.
